Criteria and procedures for the admission of Deaf or hard-of-hearing, deafblind, blind or low vision students from French language district school boards to the Provincial school at Centre Jules-Léger

Admission to the Provincial school: elementary and secondary levels

The goal of the Provincial school at CJL is to provide quality education programs to Francophone Deaf or hard-of-hearing, deafblind, blind or with low vision students of Ontario for whom there is no adequate program in their community. The Provincial school also allows enrolled students to obtain a bilingual and bicultural education. At the elementary level, the provincial school prepares Deaf or hard-of-hearing students to continue their studies at the secondary level. At the secondary level, it allows the admitted students to better prepare before they pursue postsecondary studies or enter the work force. The Provincial school complies with the Ontario curriculum guidelines.
